DAY 33: LAST DAY OF FASTING

April 11, 2022 ~ Monday

Fasting Update: Day 28 of 28. YAY!!! I am ready to get back to a more normal way of life i.e. an eating life. I am feeling “tippy” today. More like I “list” when I walk. So, Dr. Streutker started me on broth as he correctly deduced my potassium was low again. Two mugs of that and I felt better. The broth does not throw one out of ketosis, but since the fast is done tomorrow I will start on juice. Some of you wanted all the details of my fasting journey. I did have a small bow3l movement tonight. No I am not going to describe it. My body is ready to get back to work.

Daily fasting numbers: Weight-178.2 Weight lost during fast-27.8 Weight loss since adopting diet-56.8 BP-117/77 Heart rate-71 Oxygen level-96 Temperature-98 Glucose-69 Sleep-4.75 One minute pulse rate-steady. Muscle pain level-0 (scale 1-10) Energy level-3 (scale 1-10).

Lecture: Every Monday at 2 pm pacific time, Dr. Goldhamer has a lecture. I have been here long enough to finally get repeats. He is an excellent speaker and easy to listen to. He lays it out as it is. He has been doing this for 40 years, 21,ooo fasting patients later. He knows how fasting works. He just now needs to document it. The problem is that fasting is on the fringe and no one wants to publish what they have been documenting. But slowly, the medical journals are beginning to take notice. TrueNorth has the data. This is why I am here.

What we do in American is to treat the disease NOT the actual cause of the disease. For example, diabetes is a disease. We spend billions treating it and yet none of the medicines created for this disease are designed to cure it. What is its actual cause? Dietary excess.
