DAY 27: BACK ON WATER!

Fasting Update: Day 22 of 28. I feel AMAZING today. My labs tests are looking good! Things are normalizing. So, we are going back to water and will recheck the labs this weekend. I only have 6 days to go!

Daily fasting numbers: Weight-183.1 Weight lost during fast-22.9 Weight loss since adopting diet-51.9 BP-108/75 Heart rate-76 Oxygen level-98 Temperature-98.0 Glucose-107 Sleep-6 hrs. One minute pulse rate-steady. Muscle pain level-1 (scale 1-10) Energy level-9 (scale 1-10).

My Comments: I am to continue to take it easy and rest. Exercising during fasting to increase weight loss does not work. Your body will burn proteins for the energy to exercise. You actually lose more visceral fat if you rest. The visceral fat is the deadliest kind of fat to have. The fat around the organs. I want it GONE. So minimal walking and sitting in the courtyard is the plan.

Tonight, I went out to the courtyard at about 6/6:30 and sat in a chair to get some air. Pretty soon I had collected 6 people. Two of whom were homeschoolers! Small world. Here patients like to get together and talk. Making friends is easy to do. We all have a shared experience that puts adults in the position of making friends easily. Are these lifelong friendships? Maybe not, but a personal connection none the less. I was of course the last to leave. One by one they get cold and go back inside. I am an extravert and ignore the cold until the last possible moment of human connection!

Cooking: Cathy Fisher, book Straight up Cooking demoed one of her recipes this morning. I did not go over and watch but did record it. I had other things I wanted to do this morning like sit in the sun!
